Nassau Bahamas Airport

As part of the redevelopment of the Airport in Nassau Bahamas, Bush, Bohlman & Partners were the structural engineers on the US Terminal. While the ticket hall area is a single story structure with barrel vaulted roofs the majority of the building is a two story structure with a concrete suspended floor and steel roofs. The building is designed to resist hurricane force winds of 150 MPH and required a full wind study with model testing. Drawings were done using Revit including the detailing of concrete beams and columns.
