Bush, Bohlman & Partners LLP have been the structural engineers on the International Terminal Building (ITB) at Vancouver Airport since the conceptual design for the structural scheme in 1993. This large structural steel building has had two major expansions since then and an additional two major expansions have been designed.
ITB has two story steel moment frame structure (original phase and all major expansions and minor renovations). Departures on first suspended level with arrivals and baggage at grade level. Considerable thematic, security and airport infrastructure including fixed bridges and apron structures as part of our scope of work.
